Conditions of Hire
CONDITIONS OF HIRE
The Hirer agrees to the following:
Dry Hire: This is a dry hire agreement – no driver/operator is supplied.Use: The vehicle will only be used for lawful purposes and within manufacturer specifications.Licensing: Hirer must ensure all operators hold a valid driver’s licence appropriate for the vehicle class. Tow Vehicle: Hirer must ensure a minimum towing capacity of 3.5 Ton for the towing vehicle.
Insurance:The Hirer must have and maintain insurance for third-party liability, and may be required to insure the vehicles hired for damage/loss.The Owner’s insurance does not cover the Hirer’s use.A certificate of insurance may be requested before hire begins.
Maintenance: The Hirer is responsible for routine maintenance and daily checks (tyres, oil, fluids, etc.).The Hirer must notify the Owner of any defects or required repairs immediately.
Fuel: Vehicle is supplied with a full tank. It must be returned full or refuelling charges will apply.Damage/Loss: The Hirer is liable for any damage (excluding fair wear and tear), theft, or loss during the hire period.Indemnity: The Hirer indemnifies the Owner against any claims, damages, or costs arising from the use of the vehicle during the hire period.Return Condition: Vehicle must be returned in a clean and good working condition Cleaning or repair charges may apply if not. Any concerns or breakages / damages to hire machinery should be advised immediately to us. Hire Duration: Equipment is supplied for hire from 7am to 5pm. Late fees will be payable on return should equipment be returned later than 5pm on day of hire.
